Far from the big city lights, the province is made up of small towns which were once hoping for an industrial and economic development, but have now lost sight of their rural identity. Towns standing still, whose inhabitants, humans and animals alike, often live hand-to-mouth. They follow a dream, look for a job, or simply seek a distraction. At other times all they look for is a place where they can forget about their jobs and dreams.
The bitter tooth is the one with which people in the province have to bite life everyday, in order to survive.
My photography is born from a need. The need to express myself, to show, through photographs, what is my world, my experiences, my circumstances and my feelings.
